Al Carrell: Artist Brian Pudder has created an imaginative line of hand-painted shower curtains. Brian Pudder: The inspiration behind the actual concepts of the shower curtains pretty much stems from the fact that I think showers are fun things to do and there's a certain amount of whimsy in everything I paint. AC: Using acrylic paint and unexpected touches of hardware, Pudder transforms inexpensive plastic shower curtains into giant canvasses. Looks like 'Showers', 'Eye Drops' and 'Bathroom with a View' reflect Pudder's sense of humor. But the areas he doesn't paint reveal a lot more. BP: And I'll leave that clear space open. Beause I think a lot of times these particular shower curtain painting designs aren't complete until someone takes a shower. When they step behind the curtain suddenly their face is in a fish bowl or maybe their belly button shows through a frame, something fun. I'm Super Handyman Al Carrell, About the House.
