Plasti Dip

Al Carrell: You know, a lot of tools have plastic handles. This gives you a better grip and it's more comfortable. Well I got a pair of pliers that lost one of its grips. What am I gonna do? Well I found a product. It's called Plasti Dip and here's how you do it. Just slowly dip the tool handle into the liquid and when you've got it all the way in there you pull it back out. Now you let all the drips get off that, that they're gonna come off of there and then you hang it up. You can either hang it from the clothesline or put it over a rod like this. Now almost any tool will benefit from having such a handle and let's go ahead and give this one a little help. Now if for bigger tools you can actually use a brush. You know this is a good thing to use also to color code keys. And all you wanna do is just put the top of the key in there and that way you can key it to the lock. We've already put one coat on the lock here, but it uh, after about 30 minutes you can dip it down in there and get a second coat on there, which we're gonna do right now. It's real easy to do and it comes in a variety of colors. You can probably find it at your hardware store or your home center.
