Al Carrell: Don't you just hate it when the neighbor's dog comes over and wallows all over your flowerbed or the cat from next door comes up and uses your flowerbed as a sandbox? Well, I have something that may help to keep that from happening. It's a repellant formula that I think you're going to like.

It has only three ingredients:

• 2 1/2 TBSP. Flour
• 1 TBSP. Cayenne pepper or red pepper
• 1 1/2 TBSP. Mustard powder (dry)

I'm just going to make a tablespoon as being a 'part', although you may want to make more than that (depending on how big an area you're worried about).

Put the mixture in a paper bag.

The flour really doesn't do anything other than just make it so that you'll be able to see where you're sprinkling the rest of this stuff around.

The reason for the paper bag is this is our mixing container. You just grab it up like this, shake it up and that's the way you mix it up.

Now I'm going to show you how to distribute it. Now all you have to do is just spread this stuff out where you don't want your friendly dog or cat to go and it's going to keep them away. You do have to remember that if it rains or if you come out and water the plants that you have to do it again.
