STEP 5
Attach the brackets, 2" from each side, to the bottom of the 9.5"
board with 
the screws and glue.
STEP 6
Using the 1/4" drill bit, drill the spindle holes in the 3/4" x
8" piece of board.
STEP 7
Using the 1/4" drill bit, drill the spindle holes in the 3/4" x 5.5" pieces of board.
STEP 8
Place 
a few drops of glue into the holes and insert the spindles.
STEP 9
Attach the top and side rails to the spindles with glue as seen below.
Now you have a nice little shelf. Paint, stain or finish it anyway you wish.
