• Brick mortar
• Trowel

Step-by-Step

1. Remove it and chip away all the surrounding mortar.
2. Hose out the cavity and have it and the brick damp for replacing.
3. Lay a bed of mortar into the cavity.
4. Butter the top and ends of the brick with mortar.
5. Ease the brick into place using the trowel to push mortar back into the cavity.
6. Clean away the excess, and rake the joints as above.
